Collect
Blood or Bone Marrow into a Bactec Mycolytic/F bottle (red/white label). Draw aseptically per blood culture collection procedure. Wipe off top of blood culture bottle with alcohol wipe and let dry. Transport to lab immediately at 20-25 degrees centigrade.
Submit
5 mLs blood for Adults, 3 mLs blood for Pediatrics, 1 mL Bone marrow
