Patient should avoid high concentrations of antifungal cream or contraceptive jelly, and should not douche prior to time of collection. Interpretive Data: A single qualitative result is determined based on relative amounts of the following target organisms: Lactobacillus ( L. gasseri, L. crispatus , and L. jensenii ), Gardnerella vaginalis , and Atopobium vaginae . This assay does not report individual organisms.
