Special Handling
Freeze within one hour of collection. EDTA whole blood tubes will be accepted if frozen, but not preferred. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Rejection Criteria
Any specimen other than whole blood. Plasma separator tubes. Glass tubes. Clotted or nonfrozen specimens.
