Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to a standard transport tube. Mark specimens clearly as "Pre-Vaccine" or "Post-Vaccine". If shipped separately, "Post" specimen must be received within 60 days of "Pre" specimen.
