Transfer 2 g of stool within one hour of collection into Para-Pak with 5g stool in each container OR AlcorFix
Special Handling
Recommended collection: 3 separate stool specimens within a 5-7-day period (an individual order must be submitted for each specimen). Transfer 5 g of stool within one hour of collection into Para-Pak. The Dark Green containter MUST be collected, the White and Orange should be filled with any additional stool.
Rejection Criteria
Rectal swabs. Multiple specimens (more than one in 24 hours). Unpreserved specimens. Specimens preserved in SAF (sodium acetate formalin). Specimens containing barium, bismuth, or urine.

Ambient: 9 months; Refrigerated: 9 months; Frozen: Unacceptable
