Special Handling
Transfer 3 mL platelet-poor plasma to a transport tube. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. If specimen is not received at the lab within 4 hours, it must be frozen.

Serum. Clotted. Nonfrozen or hemolyzed specimens.
